Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Luz FC's Lourenço Sá got control of the ball when Tiago Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Daniel Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Fontela's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Henriques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lourenço Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, SC Fontela's Tiago Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lourenço Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Joel Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 11 minutes, Tiago Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Fontela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Fontela's Inácio Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Nascimento in the 14th minute of play. Vítor Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Inácio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Sá made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tiago Moreira sent off a good shot on target. When Rodrigo Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Luz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Pinho couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Henriques in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Luz FC booed when SC Fontela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Luz FC's Daniel Gonçalves tried to score from far away in the 50th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Henriques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Henriques in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lourenço Sá saved Luz FC from getting behind. In the 56thth minute of the game Rodrigo Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Fontela's Inácio Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, SC Fontela's Tiago Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lourenço Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Rocha having to interfere. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Fontela's goalkeeper Inácio Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiago Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Sá having to interfere. In the 67th minute Daniel Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lourenço Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Henriques in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lourenço Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 74 minutes, Tiago Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Fontela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luz FC's Vítor Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Gabriel Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Fontela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luz FC the free kick. After 86 played minutes SC Fontela got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Leão. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 89th minute, when Luz FC's Joel Soares after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Inácio Rocha in SC Fontela's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Vítor Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Rocha having to interfere. Rodrigo Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, SC Fontela's goalkeeper Inácio Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Nascimento. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fontela's zone, Vítor Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Rocha came out of the goal and Vítor Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
