Tiago Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Borba in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Nadais's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Tavares came free, but Tiago Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Tavares in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Fontes saved Nadais from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Balouca's zone, Lucas Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Vaz came out of the goal and Lucas Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Pinheiro in the 40th minute. Bernardo Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute, SC Balouca's Jacinto Tavares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Jacinto Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Fontes having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Balouca had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
