Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Matias took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, André Matias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Leiria. The goal made the score 1-0. Júlio Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Alves having to interfere. Rafael Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Neto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chapeleiro booed when SC Assumadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílcar Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Alves. SC Assumadas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SC Assumadas's Lucas Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Delgado in the 16th minute of play. Lucas Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Oliveira in the 18th minute of play. If Filipe Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Assumadas's zone, Júlio Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Alves came out of the goal and Júlio Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Júlio Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chapeleiro getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Júlio Antunes hit a great ball. Chapeleiro's Manuel Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Chapeleiro from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Filipe Delgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Alves was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Filipe Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Oliveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Oliveira ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Matias in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Leiria saved Chapeleiro from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júlio Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Alves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Júlio Oliveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. Cândido Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manuel Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chapeleiro's Júlio Antunes got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Cândido Garcia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Manuel Leiria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Filipe Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chapeleiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When David Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Assumadas's protests and gave David Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chapeleiro booed when SC Assumadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Chapeleiro's Júlio Oliveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After having played for 71 minutes, Filipe Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapeleiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, SC Assumadas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Filipe Delgado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 79th play minutes Filipe Delgado shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Lucas Alves and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Filipe Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot.
