Carlos Gonçalves's late challenge caught a SC Nabainhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Magalhães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Leite when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of SC Nabainhos booed when SC Romainho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, SC Romainho's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Fernandes came free, but Manuel Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Romainho's zone, Miguel Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Leite came out of the goal and Miguel Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of SC Nabainhos booed when SC Romainho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gabriel Barbosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Nabainhos's Rogério Freitas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Manuel Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Nabainhos.

Manuel Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, SC Romainho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Fontes to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, SC Nabainhos's Nuno Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nuno Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Leite having to make a save. Bernardo Porto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Rogério Freitas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to SC Romainho getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rui Anjos hit a great ball. Nuno Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Leite having to interfere. Miguel Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Gabriel Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, SC Nabainhos's André Matos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed André Matos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Nabainhos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and André Matos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 90 minutes into the game, one of SC Nabainhos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 99th minute, Bernardo Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogério Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The SC Nabainhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Romainho's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Romainho.
