Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bernardo Ramos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, SC Quimbres's Bernardo Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Lisboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Quimbres's goalkeeper Manuel Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afonso Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Brás struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Manuel Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cabanoes. When Bernardo Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the SC Quimbres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Ramos couldn't finish the play. Afonso Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Lisboa having to interfere. Emanuel Lisboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Ramos's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute, Afonso Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Armando Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Brás in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Coelho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Manuel Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Cabanoes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Rocha in the 41st minute. A nice corner shot did that Paulo Rocha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Coelho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Coelho came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Cabanoes's Vasco Lopes. But to his dismay, Vasco Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Brás's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Manuel Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 67 minutes into the game, SC Cabanoes's Rui Brás nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Brás in the 71st minute of play forced SC Quimbres's goalkeeper Manuel Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Lisboa having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rui Brás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Coelho was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, SC Quimbres's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Queirós came free, but Manuel Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Cabanoes's Basílio Fernandes got a free kick in the 80th minute. Afonso Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Emanuel Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Paulo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bernardo Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the SC Quimbres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Ramos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SC Quimbres's Paulo Ferro got a free kick in the 89th minute. Afonso Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Emanuel Lisboa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Ramos in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Lisboa saved SC Cabanoes from getting behind. Afonso Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Lisboa having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Quimbres players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Cabanoes.
