Humberto Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Medros FC's Alexandre Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Paredes in the 19th minute of play. Álvaro Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Humberto Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Armando Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Coimbra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Armando Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SC Resgatados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Paredes couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álvaro Ferreira to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Álvaro Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Álvaro Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, SC Resgatados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Melo to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Abreu in the 70th minute of the match. Alberto Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Afonso Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Armando Paredes took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Alexandre Coimbra to make any attempt to save it. 84 minutes into the game, one of SC Resgatados:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Medros FC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiago Faria, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Resgatados's Humberto Ribeiro. 1-1. Armando Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Armando Paredes in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The SC Resgatados players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Medros FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
