Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Assis took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Carlos Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sobradelo's Rui Abreu suffered a sore thigh after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Sebastião Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casalinho FC's protests and gave Sebastião Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Casalinho FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sebastião Guerreiro hit a great ball. Filipe Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Leiria having to interfere. Nuno Garcias short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Alfredo Moniz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nuno Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Garcia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Sobradelo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 32 played minutes Sobradelo got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Teixeira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Assis in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Esteves in the 36th minute of play. If Nuno Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Assis in the 43rd minute of play forced Sobradelo's goalkeeper Fábio Leiria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filipe Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Leiria having to interfere. If Filipe Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sobradelo's Fábio Leiria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Sousa in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Carlos Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casalinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Fábio Leiria made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Rui Paredes sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, Pedro Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Fábio Leiria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sobradelo's Fábio Leiria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sobradelo from getting a goal against them. Fábio Leiria came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Casalinho FC's Filipe Esteves. But to his dismay, Filipe Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 93rd minute Carlos Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipe Estevess short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Fábio Leiria to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Casalinho FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
