If Gustavo Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rafael Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franzilhal FC's Rafael Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Ramos in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tomás Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafael Queirós was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Branco. Gustavo Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Ferreira having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Gustavo Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franzilhal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Paiva in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Ferreira saved SC Reixida from getting behind. When Armando Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the SC Reixida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Freitas couldn't finish the play. Afonso Correia hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Franzilhal FC's zone, Tomás Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Queirós came out of the goal and Tomás Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Ramos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rafael Queirós firmly grabbed it by the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Franzilhal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Gustavo Resende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Ferreira having to make a save. In the 100th minute Cristiano Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
