Filipe Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eduardo Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Comaros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Campos came free, but Tiago Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Penhascoso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Alves came free, but Eduardo Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulo Sá was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. A collision led to Comaros FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Paulo Sá hit a great ball. When Humberto Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Penhascoso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Tiago Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Campos in the 32nd minute of play. Viriato Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viriato Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Comaros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Campos to maneuver through the defense. Penhascoso FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Viegas in the 40th minute. Penhascoso FC's Lucas Viegas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiago Rodrigues in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Lucas Viegas fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penhascoso FC's protests and gave Lucas Viegas a yellow card for diving instead. Eduardo Soares made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Catarino Neto sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Campos was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Comaros FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Rodrigues. After recieving a nice pass, Penhascoso FC's Lucas Viegas tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Comaros FC's Tiago Rodrigues got control of the ball when Humberto Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Catarino Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Neto in the 71st minute of the match. Comaros FC were furious when Oliveira Oliveira was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Comaros FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Penhascoso FC:s goal. If Humberto Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute of the match, Humberto Oliveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiago Rodrigues was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Humberto Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Vítor Campos in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Oliveira got free with Tiago Rodrigues in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Tiago Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
