Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfim Ferro started the match with the kick off. Américo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes, Paulo Castro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Bucos's Amílcar Cruz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amílcar Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Ferro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Miguel Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Bucos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penaceira the free kick. After 20 played minutes SC Bucos got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Pinheiro. Delfim Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Cruz having to interfere. After 24 played minutes SC Bucos got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Cabral. Paulo Castro might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amílcar Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Castro ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Cruz having to interfere. Catarino Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Pinheiro in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Penaceira's Fernando Henriques got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Delfim Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes Américo Coelho rounded Penaceira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Afonso Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 43rd minute of the match Óscar Vaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catarino Assis skillfully saved the ball. Penaceira's Catarino Assis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Penaceira from getting a goal against them. Paulo Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amílcar Cruz having to make a save.

In the 56th minute, Albertino Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Correia during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Bucos's Alfredo Correia got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 94th minute of the match Óscar Vaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Catarino Assis skillfully saved the ball. If Delfim Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Penaceira players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
