Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Andrade to make the kick off. Duarte Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Borges in the 53rd minute of the match. Cristiano Rocha struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. A wasted opportunity for SC Cedainhos. 64 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cruz FC's José Andrade fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Duarte Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, SC Cedainhos's Manuel Setúbal got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, José Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duarte Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Andrade in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, SC Cedainhos's goal looked a bit too open when José Andrade came free, but Duarte Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cedainhos's zone, José Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Macedo came out of the goal and José Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
