Cristiano Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Vicente Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveira Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gonçalo Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the SC Selhariz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Cabral couldn't finish the play. André Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Cabral in the 15th minute of the match. André Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Moreira in the 19th minute of play. Domingos Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Selhariz's zone, Jorge Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Monteiro came out of the goal and Jorge Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Vicente Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Tuizelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliveira Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 48 minutes, Cândido Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Tuizelo and the SC Selhariz players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Gabriel Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game Gonçalo Cabral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Tuizelo's André Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 played minutes SC Tuizelo got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Pacheco. SC Selhariz's Oliveira Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Vale in the 66th minute of play. When Vicente Vale came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SC Tuizelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Vale couldn't finish the play. Gonçalo Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonçalo Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Dantas struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Oliveira Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Tuizelo. André Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Cabral in the 87th minute of play.
