Sandro Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When SC Inacios's Joaquim Viegas in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Terreiros's Sandro Pacheco threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simão Barbosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 35 minutes into the match, Jacinto Simões notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Terreiros's Humberto Oliveira. Humberto Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, António Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Terreiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Inacios the free kick. If Cristiano Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Simão Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Simões got free with Humberto Oliveira in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Terreiros's Simão Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandro Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sandro Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Pinheiro hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Raul Baptista, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Humberto Oliveira came out of the goal and Jacinto Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandro Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Simão Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terreiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Simõess short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Humberto Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 minutes, Simão Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terreiros and the SC Inacios players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Simão Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joaquim Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Humberto Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Inacios's Joaquim Viegas in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
