Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Amorim made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Souto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Viegas came free, but Duarte Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bruno Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asseca's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Viegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Asseca's Miguel Ramos got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasco Moreira in the 11th minute of play forced Asseca's goalkeeper José Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco Moreira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Souto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gil Vaz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. José Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Gil Vaz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Asseca's José Carneiro. José Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Viegas in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Ribeiro saved Souto FC from getting behind. Vasco Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carneiro having to interfere. Gil Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but José Carneiro made a huge save. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Asseca's goalkeeper José Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Vasco Moreira put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of José Carneiro. If Gil Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Álvaro Simões hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Asseca's Vasco Andrade got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Vasco Moreira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Souto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 46 minutes into the game, Hugo Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asseca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Souto FC the free kick. Augusto Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Souto FC's goalkeeper Duarte Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Viegas. Vasco Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Vasco Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Carneiro was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 70th minute of the match Vasco Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duarte Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Sandro Henriques sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Souto FC's Duarte Ribeiro didn't even have to move. Souto FC's Duarte Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Amorim in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Miguel Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Ribeiro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Moreira in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Ribeiro having to interfere.
