Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Reis started the match with the kick off. Manuel Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dias in the 4th minute of play. Manuel Anjos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Dias in the 16th minute of the match. If Daniel Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Anjos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Reis's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Daniel Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Anjos having to interfere. Augusto Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. SC Aroes's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonçalo Moutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gonçalo Moutinho made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Tavares. SC Almarginho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. SC Almarginho's Augusto Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Matos in the 57th minute of play. Carlos Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When SC Aroes's Gonçalo Moutinho in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gonçalo Moutinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Tavares having to make a save. 73 minutes into the game, Miguel Jesus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Aroes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Almarginho the free kick. A collision led to SC Aroes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Miguel Jesus hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Daniel Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Almarginho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Almarginho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Aroes.
