Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Júlio Paredes made the kick off which started today's match. Afonso Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Eduardo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, André Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Abreu in the 14th minute of play forced Cardeira FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Paredes in the 21st minute of play forced Bicas FC's goalkeeper Daniel Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Rafael Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cardeira FC's Eduardo Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes Bicas FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Antunes. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bicas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. António Gueifão was slow to take the kick. During this time Cardeira FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Bicas FC booed when Cardeira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vítor Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes Cardeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Simões. Rafael Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eduardo Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Bicas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Paredes came free, but Daniel Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bicas FC's Daniel Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Cardoso in the 54th minute of play. Daniel Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Cardoso in the 56th minute of play. Bicas FC's André Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Artur Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Castro having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Cardeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Abreu came free, but Eduardo Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If André Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cardeira FC could leave the field as winners, despite Bicas FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
