Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bicas FC's Rafael Abreu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bicas FC's zone, Jorge Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Pinheiro came out of the goal and Jorge Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorge Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Azevedo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Pinheiro saved Bicas FC from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bicas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Bicas FC:s Daniel Pinheiro showed great skill when he stopped Viriato Macedo:s penalty. If Inácio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bicas FC defense, Jorge Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Pinheiro. The Bicas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. Jorge Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Daniel Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rafael Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Rafael Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Esteves. The goal made the score 1-1. Jorge Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vítor Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After 49 played minutes, Pipe's Viriato Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Pinheiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pipe reached it. In the 50th minute Pipe were awarded a corner. Viriato Macedo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in José Maia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Azevedo to make the kick off. Inácio Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
