Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bento Neto took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Neto in the 5th minute of play forced Zambujeira's goalkeeper Sérgio Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Zambujeira got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Coelho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bento Neto in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliveira Martins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hélder Amaral in the 17th minute. António Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sérgio Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Resende in the 21st minute of the match. Sérgio Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serraquinhos FC's Oliveira Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Leite in the 25th minute of play. Bento Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Almeida scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Azevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th match minute, Zambujeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Campos to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Neto in the 46th minute of play. Bento Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when José Leite made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Zambujeira booed when Serraquinhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliveira Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jorge Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Oliveira Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zambujeira's Sérgio Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Zambujeira from getting a goal against them. Bento Neto was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Serraquinhos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. José Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Oliveira Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Zambujeira got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Borba. Sérgio Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Resende went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Serraquinhos FC booed when Zambujeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serraquinhos FC's António Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sérgio Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Zambujeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Campos to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when António Resende sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Serraquinhos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zambujeira.
