Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Friumes's António Ribeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Friumes's goalkeeper Henrique Guarda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Ribeiro in the 4th minute of play forced Peroliva FC's goalkeeper Carlos Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Henrique Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, António Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Friumes's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Peroliva FC's goalkeeper Carlos Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Jesus. Henrique Guarda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Guarda went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Carlos Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Friumes booed when Peroliva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristiano Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Friumes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Jesus couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Ribeiro in the 67th minute of play forced Peroliva FC's goalkeeper Carlos Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Guarda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simão Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Guarda having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cristiano Jesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Porto. Peroliva FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Jesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peroliva FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Friumes.
