Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Pereira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Rogério Leão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Moutinho, 1-0. Sérgio Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Brás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toucinhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sobrado FC the free kick. Rodrigo Brás hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Joaquim Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joaquim Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sérgio Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Joaquim Pacheco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Vaz. Toucinhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Pacheco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 18th minute Ricardo Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manuel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Toucinhos got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Luz. In the 25th minute, Joaquim Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Toucinhos's zone, Ricardo Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Vaz came out of the goal and Ricardo Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Rogério Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toucinhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Álvaro Delgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Manuel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Rogério Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sobrado FC's Tomás Neves got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sobrado FC's zone, Manuel Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Moutinho came out of the goal and Manuel Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joel Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Leão was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Toucinhos's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Pereira came free, but Sérgio Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56thth minute of the game Ricardo Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toucinhos's Sérgio Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Joaquim Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Sobrado FC booed when Toucinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Pereira in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, one of Toucinhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toucinhos. The referee gave Sobrado FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hélder Carneiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Toucinhos's Sérgio Vaz. 1-4. André Valente, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogério Leão in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Moutinho saved Sobrado FC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Sobrado FC's Ricardo Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sérgio Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Pereira in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Toucinhos getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Vasco Barros hit a great ball. The Sobrado FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sobrado FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
