Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Pinho made the kick off and thus started the match. Xavier Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Nascimento got free with Xavier Lopes in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Ribeiro hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Choes FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Teixeira. Cristiano Sá hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Daniel Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Choes FC's Cristiano Sá got a free kick in the 24th minute. Pedro Castro, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Choes FC's Viriato Pinho in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esquilas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute Sandro Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Xavier Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Choes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Marco Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Moreira in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Pinho to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sandro Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Choes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Matos's late challenge caught a Choes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Matos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Choes FC booed when Esquilas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Choes FC's Diogo Gueifão broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristiano Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristiano Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Afonso Pinho struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Xavier Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquilas. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-0 when André Nascimento sped through Choes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xavier Lopes. Xavier Lopes came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Esquilas's André Nascimento. But to his dismay, André Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Marco Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Joaquim Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Manuel Ribeiro's late challenge caught a Choes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Ribeiro helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Choes FC's Diogo Gueifão got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marco Lopes. Sandro Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marco Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xavier Lopes came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Esquilas's Afonso Pinho. But to his dismay, Afonso Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Joaquim Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Esquilas had won after a very even match.
