Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Magalhães kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Carneiro in the 4th minute of play forced Parracheira FC's goalkeeper Alberto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Carneiro in the 7th minute of play. Alberto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Vale in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Carneiro in the 10th minute of play forced Parracheira FC's goalkeeper Alberto Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Assis in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Neto saved Parracheira FC from getting behind. Daniel Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Alberto Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Carneiro in the 17th minute of the match. Diamantino Assis was a little too slow when Álvaro Henriques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Taiao's André Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If António Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Humberto Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taiao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute André Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Humberto Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Humberto Assis struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Alberto Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taiao. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Carneiro to make the kick off. Taiao's André Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Álvaro Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamantino Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Parracheira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Viegas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Parracheira FC's Álvaro Henriques got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Taiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Vale to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Assis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Santarém in the 69th minute of the match. André Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alberto Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Armando Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taiao and the Parracheira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Parracheira FC booed when Taiao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parracheira FC's António Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes of play, Parracheira FC's Miguel Magalhães made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Assis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Armando Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parracheira FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
