Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diogo Melo got the match started through his kick off. Gabriel Silva lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Barrancao FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Codecal:s goal. Tomás Carneiro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 7th minute, António Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. André Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes SC Codecal got a freekick which was hit by André Costa. Ricardo Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Codecal's André Costa got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Amílcar Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, SC Codecal's António Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SC Codecal's António Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílcar Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bruno Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Amílcar Torres made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Codecal's Bruno Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If António Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Codecal's Bruno Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Codecal from getting a goal against them. Manuel Costa hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Diogo Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Paiva during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. André Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. António Soares took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Machado. António Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, SC Codecal's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Borba came free, but Bruno Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half SC Codecal were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Barrancao FC booed when SC Codecal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. António Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Melo in the 62nd minute of play. When Amílcar Torres fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancao FC's protests and gave Amílcar Torres a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Codecal booed when Barrancao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Barrancao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Paiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Tomás Carneiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. António Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Machado having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Melo in the 75th minute of play forced Barrancao FC's goalkeeper António Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílcar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Soares in the 80th minute. Amílcar Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Ferreira having to interfere. SC Codecal's André Costa got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered André Costa off the ground. In the 83rd minute, André Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amílcar Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amílcar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Soares in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Codecal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
