Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of SC Ferranha booed when Quinhao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manuel Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Quinhao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Vieira couldn't finish the play. If Pedro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Pedro Almeida notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Ferranha's Francisco Dantas. Francisco Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusébio Guarda hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. SC Ferranha's Francisco Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Vieira in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Rui Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ferranha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Dantas having to interfere. When Rui Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Ferranha fans jumped to their feet. Pedro Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Dantas having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Porto in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Ferranha's goalkeeper Francisco Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Guerreiro having to interfere. Pedro Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Paiva in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, SC Ferranha's Rui Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Guerreiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quinhao FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaspar Miranda was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Ferranha's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on SC Ferranha's corner Gaspar Miranda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Guerreiro quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Paiva in the 67th minute of play forced Quinhao FC's goalkeeper Pedro Guerreiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Pedro Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Guerreiro skillfully saved the ball. After 75 minutes, Gaspar Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ferranha and the Quinhao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Ferranha getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gaspar Porto hit a great ball. Pedro Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Manuel Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinhao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pedro Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, SC Ferranha's Eusébio Delgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Guerreiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 97th minute Manuel Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Ferranha were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quinhao FC for a fine match.
