Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Carrecos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pires came free, but Cristiano Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Castro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Jorge Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cristiano Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carrecos FC's Cristiano Moutinho got control of the ball when José Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Adolfo Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Moutinho skillfully saved the ball. In the 15th minute Eusébio Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carrecos FC's Cristiano Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pires in the 17th minute of play. Albertino Moutinho hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mouguelas's Diamantino Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Rodrigues in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Nuno Abreu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mouguelas's Diamantino Amaro. Diamantino Amaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Carrecos FC's Eusébio Rodrigues in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Mendes couldn't finish the play. Diamantino Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Rodrigues in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Nuno Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diamantino Amaro. Mouguelas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Abreu to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Mouguelas's José Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Moutinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Carrecos FC's Cristiano Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Pires in the 58th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Mouguelas's Marco Faro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Moutinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Nuno Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Moutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Mendes went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. If Tiago Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Rodrigues got free with Diamantino Amaro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jorge Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, José Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mouguelas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Carrecos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
