Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Afonso Assis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Emanuel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Porto in the 3rd minute of play. Mariano Leão took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Azevedo. Emanuel Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Afonso Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SC Lousada getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Júlio Martins hit a great ball. Júlio Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Daniel Porto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lousada and the Brejenjas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Lousada's Daniel Porto got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Abel Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Aguiar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Joaquim Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lousada's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Azevedo came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Lousada's Mariano Leão. But to his dismay, Mariano Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mariano Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lousada's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emanuel Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Afonso Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Assis in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Porto was the one to do the kick off. Abel Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Faria having to interfere. Júlio Martins hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Brejenjas got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Coelho. Daniel Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Daniel Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Aleixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Abel Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brejenjas's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lousada's zone, Abel Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Faria came out of the goal and Abel Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, one of Brejenjas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brejenjas. Mariano Gonçalves shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Brejenjas booed when SC Lousada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Abel Aleixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SC Lousada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
