Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Monteiro started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Aguiar in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Heitor Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Morais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rui Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nuno Morais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavia FC. Heitor Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Morais having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Aguiar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Nunes saved Pavia FC from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Cardais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Monteiro came free, but Nuno Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pavia FC's zone, Óscar Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Nunes came out of the goal and Óscar Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cardais FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pavia FC were winning 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Óscar Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Óscar Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cardais FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rui Moutinho hit a great ball. Cardais FC's Óscar Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Rui Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Óscar Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Rui Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Heitor Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Pavia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heitor Fontes couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute of the match Nuno Faro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Nunes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vítor Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pavia FC's zone, Artur Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Nunes came out of the goal and Artur Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pavia FC's goalkeeper Vítor Nunes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Cruz during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cardais FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rafael Cruz hit a great ball. Nuno Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pavia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
