The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Almeida was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, David Abreu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rezende FC's Viriato Oliveira. Viriato Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Assis took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viriato Oliveira. Viriato Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alberto Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Almeida in the 71st minute of play. David Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rezende FC booed when Coronado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alexandre Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Coronado's zone, Nuno Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Campos came out of the goal and Nuno Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coronado's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
