Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Borba kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Vinheiros FC booed when Muxagata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Heitor Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Inácio Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Muxagata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Inácio Leiria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. António Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sérgio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Brás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Inácio Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sérgio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heitor Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. Vinheiros FC's Sérgio Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Vinheiros FC from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Pedro Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sérgio Silva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Heitor Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Inácio Leiria made a precise shot to the right of António Moutinho. Muxagata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 66th minute, one of Muxagata FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Muxagata FC. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Vinheiros FC. Ricardo Coelho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving António Moutinho. 3-1. Pedro Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Silva having to interfere. With a little luck, Vinheiros FC's Sérgio Silva got control of the ball when Xavier Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sérgio Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Brás in the 89th minute. Sérgio Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Brás went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. When Jacinto Fernandes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
