Joaquim Cardoso's late challenge caught a Quinteiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Cardoso hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Quinteiro FC's Bento Moniz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Óscar Vale but with some difficulty. Sebastião Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Ramos in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Guerreiro saved Quinteiro FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Carlos Moniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Óscar Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Carlos Moniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Óscar Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Romao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Quinteiro FC's Bento Moniz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Leiria to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luís Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Ribeiro in the 57th minute of the match. If Luís Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastião Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Gaspar Guerreiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Quinteiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joaquim Cardoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luís Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rafael Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Óscar Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Quinteiro FC's Rafael Leiria in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romao's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastião Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Guerreiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quinteiro FC's Cristiano Silva got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Quinteiro FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Guerreiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Ramos. Gaspar Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Luís Ramos sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quinteiro FC had won after a very even match.
