Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Serpente's Daniel Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Simões in the 6th minute of play. Jacinto Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Sá having to make a save. After 14 played minutes Caxias FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Simões. Ricardo Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 21 played minutes Caxias FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Gonçalves. José Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Sá having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Serpente's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Carvalho came free, but Daniel Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Setúbal having to interfere. Ricardo Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasco Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Carvalho in the 37th minute of play. Nuno Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Caxias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Viana to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Carvalho in the 44th minute of play forced Serpente's goalkeeper Daniel Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Caxias FC's Ricardo Carvalho in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Serpente's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Serpente's goalkeeper Daniel Setúbal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasco Simões. After 67 minutes, Jacinto Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serpente and the Caxias FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caxias FC's Abel Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Carneiro in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Serpente booed when Caxias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Sá came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Serpente's José Matos. But to his dismay, José Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Serpente's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
