Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Resende made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Clareanes's Mário Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Vicente Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salreu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Albertino Esteves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes into the match, Salreu FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Gueifão came free, but Albertino Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Gueifão in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, João Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clareanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salreu FC the free kick. A collision led to Clareanes getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. João Aguiar hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Clareanes's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Resende came free, but Rui Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Clareanes got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Aguiar. When Jaime Resende came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Salreu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Resende couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jaime Resende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Figueiredo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 53 minutes, José Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clareanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If João Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Ramos in the 62nd minute of play forced Salreu FC's goalkeeper Albertino Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The Clareanes fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Clareanes's Mário Ramos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 75th minute, Vicente Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jaime Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salreu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Jaime Resende fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jaime Resende received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Figueiredo came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Resende slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 94th minute.
