Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Azevedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Prozela FC's José Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Azevedo in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Prozela FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Andrade. José Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Rodeiro FC defense, Mário Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Oliveira. The Rodeiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Prozela FC's Mário Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rodeiro FC's José Paiva got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Rui Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Domingues in the 26th minute of play forced Rodeiro FC's goalkeeper David Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rodeiro FC booed when Prozela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Jorge Leiria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Resende skillfully saved the ball. When Emanuel Azevedo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The José Resende was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Afonso Branco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Prozela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Branco couldn't finish the play. José Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rodeiro FC's David Oliveira got control of the ball when Afonso Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mário Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. David Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 44 in the game by Afonso Branco from a close distance when the talented David Oliveira managed to make a qualified save. Rodeiro FC's players were relieved.
When Emanuel Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rodeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Azevedo couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes, Emanuel Azevedo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Prozela FC's José Resende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Prozela FC's Mário Domingues in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodeiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Prozela FC's Mário Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Domingues took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Oliveira. David Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 70 minutes into the game, Xavier Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodeiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prozela FC the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Prozela FC's Cândido Cabral tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Domingues in the 77th minute of play forced Rodeiro FC's goalkeeper David Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Oliveira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Prozela FC's zone, Emanuel Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Resende came out of the goal and Emanuel Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Moreira struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. José Resende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodeiro FC. In the 90th minute of the match, Emanuel Azevedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Resende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mário Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Prozela FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rodeiro FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
