Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Heitor Costa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cumeira's Jaime Esteves. Jaime Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusébio Fernandes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaime Esteves. Cumeira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cumeira's André Domingues got a free kick in the 10th minute. Heitor Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Esteves having to interfere. Óscar Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jaime Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Heitor Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Óscar Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cumeira getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lúcio Teixeira hit a great ball. Alexandre Aguiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Branco in the 31st minute. The attack was good, but when Heitor Costa in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cumeira's Jaime Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Costa in the 40th minute of play. Cândido Gomes's late challenge caught a Cumeira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cândido Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Ima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Gomes to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Alexandre Aguiar managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Cumeira's Sebastião Branco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Cumeira's Emílio Aleixo got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heitor Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ima's zone, Fernando Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Aguiar came out of the goal and Fernando Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sebastião Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lúcio Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cumeira's protests and gave Lúcio Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute Heitor Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Cunha struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alexandre Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumeira. Óscar Setúbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Cumeira's André Domingues got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Heitor Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Esteves was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Joaquim Coimbra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Aguiar. The Ima players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
