Amadeu Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Neto scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Santarém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Murzeleira's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Antunes came free, but Alfredo Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amadeu Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alfredo Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alfredo Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfredo Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Tiago Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Santarém was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 57 minutes of play, Murzeleira's Ricardo Pereira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Guerreiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiago Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Santarém having to interfere. Gabriel Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Tavares's late challenge caught a SC Martinga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Gabriel Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Santarém stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Neto's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Sérgio Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Murzeleira's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Neto came free, but Alfredo Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Santarém having to interfere. In the 81st minute Ricardo Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ricardo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
