Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ameiro's David Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rui Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When David Moura came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ameiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Moura couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Paulo Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murzeleira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ameiro the free kick. A collision led to Murzeleira getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Paulo Aguiar hit a great ball. Bento Cruz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Moura in the 19th minute of play forced Murzeleira's goalkeeper Alfredo Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. José Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paiva having to interfere. Ricardo Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. José Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rui Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Vasco Coimbra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murzeleira and the Ameiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardo Fontes, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. José Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Tavares in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Rui Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ameiro's zone, Ricardo Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Paiva came out of the goal and Ricardo Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Gustavo Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Santarém showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Murzeleira's zone, David Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Santarém came out of the goal and David Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Moura in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Mota in the 77th minute of play forced Murzeleira's goalkeeper Alfredo Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute David Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Gabriel Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Carlos Assis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paiva skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute, Gonçalo Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, David Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfredo Santarém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
