Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Anjos started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Paulo Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grandais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Henriques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Adolfo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Melo having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Manuel Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Lourenço Melo. Grandais FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Adolfo Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grandais FC's Lourenço Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Anjos in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Henriques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lourenço Melo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Queirós went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Formoselha's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Anjos came free, but Sebastião Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Paulo Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Oliveira during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Formoselha getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Filipe Oliveira hit a great ball. Manuel Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sebastião Henriques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Anjos in the 46th minute of the match. Manuel Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Melo having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Coelho was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Carneiro took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastião Henriques. Sebastião Henriques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Lourenço Melo was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Manuel Coelho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manuel Coelho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Grandais FC's Lourenço Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Coelho in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Paulo Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Vale's late challenge caught a Formoselha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Vale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, João Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Leão didn't quite understand what happened when in the 75 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Manuel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Adolfo Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Manuel Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Formoselha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
