Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Gonçalo Nogueira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adolfo Queirós struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Paulo Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formoselha. Vicente Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Formoselha booed when Capuchos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Manuel Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adolfo Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Formoselha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Queirós couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Nogueira in the 31st minute of play forced Formoselha's goalkeeper Sebastião Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Paulo Moreira made a huge save. After 35 played minutes Capuchos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Baptista. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Ramos in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastião Henriques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute of the match, Manuel Coelho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo Moreira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Coelho to make the kick off. Adolfo Queirós took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Moreira. Paulo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 56th minute Adolfo Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Manuel Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formoselha's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gonçalo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Nogueira in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Henriques saved Formoselha from getting behind. Paulo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Queirós in the 75th minute of the match. Xavier Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião Henriques having to make a save. In the 90thth minute of the game Gonçalo Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formoselha's Sebastião Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Formoselha's zone, Xavier Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Henriques came out of the goal and Xavier Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Formoselha's goalkeeper Sebastião Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Ramos. André Anjos was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Formoselha getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. André Anjos hit a great ball. Xavier Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. Formoselha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
