Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Oca's André Branco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, André Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Oca's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 5 minutes, André Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encourados and the SC Oca players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Oca booed when Encourados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Sandro Amaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Oca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encourados the free kick. In the 7th minute, Sandro Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Miguel Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Marques made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Nuno Domingues sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Manuel Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Branco in the 27th minute of the match. Pedro Pedroso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Figueiredo. SC Oca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nuno Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Oca's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Marques having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Pedro Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Branco in the 42nd minute of play forced Encourados's goalkeeper Manuel Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Encourados's goalkeeper Manuel Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Domingues. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Teixeira to make the kick off. When André Moreira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Encourados's André Moreira got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, André Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Oca's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Marques having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Nuno Domingues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Marques. Encourados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Domingues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Manuel Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Branco in the 70th minute of the match. Nuno Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Manuel Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 76th minute, but João Figueiredo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving SC Oca hanging dry this time. Nuno Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Marques having to interfere. André Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Manuel Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandro Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
