Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lindoso's Miguel Domingues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes SC Ega got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Miranda. David Pinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, David Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Neto. Lindoso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lindoso's Bruno Bessa got a free kick in the 15th minute. Gustavo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Cunha in the 16th minute of the match. David Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gustavo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Vicente Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Neto having to interfere. Pedro Baptista in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduardo Aleixo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eduardo Aleixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Domingues in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, SC Ega's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro Baptista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 47th minute David Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half SC Ega were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Pinho was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jorge Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Aleixo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lindoso's Miguel Domingues shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If David Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Rafael Henriques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindoso and the SC Ega players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lindoso's Rafael Henriques got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd match minute, SC Ega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Aleixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Eduardo Aleixo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lindoso's Miguel Domingues. But to his dismay, Miguel Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Miguel Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eduardo Aleixo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, SC Ega's Vicente Matias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ega's zone, Pedro Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Aleixo came out of the goal and Pedro Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Matias might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Matias ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Pedro Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Pedro Baptista made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Aleixo. SC Ega's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Miguel Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Aleixo having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Ega players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lindoso.
