Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pedro Vale took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Pedro Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Miguel Silva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Vieira skillfully saved the ball. Pedro Vale's late challenge caught a SC Almadena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Vale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Almadena booed when SC Freiao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Freiao's Ricardo Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Fontes in the 9th minute of play. When Oliveira Viana fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Freiao's protests and gave Oliveira Viana a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of SC Freiao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Almadena:s goal. If Pedro Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Magalhães's late challenge caught a SC Freiao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. When SC Freiao's Pedro Vale in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Almadena's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, SC Almadena's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Vale came free, but Hélder Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. SC Freiao's Ricardo Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Pires in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Freiao's Pedro Torres got a free kick in the 39th minute. Pedro Torres's late challenge caught a SC Almadena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Silva, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hélder Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Vale in the 59th minute of the match. Hélder Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Lima in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rui Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Hélder Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Vale in the 71st minute of play. Miguel Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Reis having to interfere. Pedro Lima struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hélder Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Freiao. Rui Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes, SC Almadena's Miguel Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Vieira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Almadena reached it. Miguel Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Freiao's Pedro Torres got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Pedro Torres off the ground. After a rather tough play, SC Freiao's Pedro Torres got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Rui Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Almadena had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
