Manuel Lisboa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Guerreiro. 1-0. Engenho FC's Humberto Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Engenho FC from getting a goal against them. José Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Humberto Guerreiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Soares in the 48th minute of play.

In the 60th minute Pedro Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Guerreiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Soares went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. José Soares struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Humberto Guerreiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelo. In the 71st minute, Pedro Neto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucas Monteiro, passed just outside the right post. In the 75th minute of the match Joaquim Gaspar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Monteiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ricardo Brás might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Guerreiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Brás ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Soares in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute José Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engenho FC's Humberto Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Pacheco in the 91st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Engenho FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castelo.
