Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquim Gueifão got the match started through his kick off. Engenho FC's Humberto Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ribeiro in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Restolinho's zone, Pedro Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Magalhães came out of the goal and Pedro Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Joaquim Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Engenho FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquim Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Adelino Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engenho FC. SC Restolinho's Adelino Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Gueifão in the 14th minute of play. After 22 played minutes SC Restolinho got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Moutinho. 26 minutes into the game, Engenho FC's Pedro Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Joaquim Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basílio Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

51 minutes into the game, David Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Restolinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engenho FC the free kick. The supporters of Engenho FC booed when SC Restolinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jorge Leite fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Engenho FC's protests and gave Jorge Leite a yellow card for diving instead. Afonso Resende scored 2-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Guerreiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 64 minutes, Alfredo Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Restolinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
