Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Lima kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cláudio Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Moutinho. Carnapete's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cláudio Pinheiro in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Moutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaspar Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pedro Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Carnapete's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Pinheiro came free, but Pedro Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manuel Reis fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carnapete's protests and gave Manuel Reis a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Carnapete got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Reis. In the 12th minute Cláudio Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Esteves hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Carnapete got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Esteves. If Gaspar Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Reiss short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Delfim Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When SC Orvalho's Cláudio Pinheiro in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carnapete's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Pinheiro in the 26th minute of play. If Cláudio Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Mendes took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Moutinho. Pedro Moutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gaspar Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cláudio Pinheiro took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Moutinho. Pedro Moutinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 47th minute, Gaspar Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Moutinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filipe Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Moura having to interfere. SC Orvalho's Delfim Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Cunha in the 57th minute of play. Carnapete's Pedro Moutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Carnapete from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Carnapete's goalkeeper Pedro Moutinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Mendes. After 84 played minutes Carnapete got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Esteves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Pinheiro in the 86th minute of play forced Carnapete's goalkeeper Pedro Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Orvalho defense, Filipe Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Moura. The SC Orvalho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Moura should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Filipe Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carnapete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Orvalho the free kick. After 94 played minutes Carnapete got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Costa. SC Orvalho's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
