Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Américo Neto got the match started through his kick off. Agracoes FC's Heitor Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Ferreira in the 3rd minute of play. Heitor Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 7 minutes, Sebastião Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agracoes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Agracoes FC's Emanuel Nascimento got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rodrigo Maia. After a rather tough play, SC Giraldes's Paulo Campos got a free kick in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Agracoes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Ferreira came free, but Heitor Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, SC Giraldes's Óscar Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heitor Valente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Óscar Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Giraldes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Óscar Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pedro Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heitor Valente having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Óscar Cardoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heitor Valente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Pedro Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Óscar Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. When Américo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Agracoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Neto couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Agracoes FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. António Nogueira hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Pedro Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Giraldes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amadeu Moreira in the 72nd minute. SC Giraldes were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Agracoes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amadeu Moreira took the corner. At last the ball reached Óscar Cardoso at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Agracoes FC. 1-3. Agracoes FC's Américo Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 85 minutes, Óscar Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Giraldes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Óscar Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Óscar Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Agracoes FC's zone, Pedro Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Valente came out of the goal and Pedro Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
