Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Américo Neto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abel Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Américo Neto in the 3rd minute of play. José Oliveira hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Agracoes FC's Sebastião Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Mouril got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Silva. After having played for 16 minutes, Sebastião Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agracoes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Matias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Américo Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mouril's Abel Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Neto in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Brito in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Afonso Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Valente having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Afonso Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Américo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Delgado having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso Brito to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Mouril were awarded a corner. Fábio Monteiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Fábio Monteiro made a great header on Mouril's corner, it was just that Agracoes FC's Heitor Valente managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the game, Afonso Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Heitor Valente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the game, Mouril's Afonso Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heitor Valente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Mouril's zone, Américo Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Delgado came out of the goal and Américo Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Matias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Delgado having to interfere. A collision led to Agracoes FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. António Nogueira hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Afonso Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mouril's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Abel Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Américo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agracoes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
