Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amílcar Ribeiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Laranjeiro FC's Amílcar Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Catarino Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Correia in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Borba saved Laranjeiro FC from getting behind. After 9 played minutes Laranjeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Marques. Diamantino Cabral charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Cabral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Laranjeiro FC booed when SC Rostos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Laranjeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Lima. SC Rostos's Joel Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Rogério Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laranjeiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Rostos the free kick. Rogério Dantas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SC Rostos's Catarino Veiga got control of the ball when Carlos Brás tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Lima during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Laranjeiro FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tomás Lima hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Tomás Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laranjeiro FC's Sérgio Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Correia in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Manuel Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Rostos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laranjeiro FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Sebastião Fontes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Rostos's Catarino Veiga didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Brás got free with Catarino Veiga in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Catarino Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Laranjeiro FC's Sérgio Borba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Laranjeiro FC from getting a goal against them. If Carlos Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes of play, SC Rostos's Raul Soares made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Borba was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Joel Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Borba made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Raul Soares sent off a good shot on target. Sérgio Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Laranjeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Correia came free, but Sérgio Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
