Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Afonso Esteves took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Esteves in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Dias saved SC Espinho from getting behind. Afonso Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Dias having to interfere. SC Espinho's Daniel Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SC Espinho from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, SC Espinho's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Esteves came free, but Daniel Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Daniel Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Paradanta FC got a freekick which was hit by António Pinho. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso Esteves in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Daniel Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half SC Espinho were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. SC Espinho's Emanuel Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SC Espinho's zone, Augusto Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Dias came out of the goal and Augusto Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Esteves in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Emanuel Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Espinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Lopes having to make a save. Emanuel Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Daniel Lopes made a huge save. SC Espinho's Gustavo Macedo managed to work through Paradanta FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gustavo Macedo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
