Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaspar Cabral made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 played minutes SC Espinho got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Henriques. In the 10th minute, Gaspar Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Manuel Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Espinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Carquejido the free kick. Manuel Fernandes hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes, Rodrigo Henriques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Espinho and the SC Carquejido players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20th play minutes Gustavo Macedo shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Bruno Moutinho and just under the crossbar into goal. Rui Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When Sebastião Costa came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the SC Carquejido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Costa couldn't finish the play. Paulo Magalhães in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Dias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rui Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Paulo Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carquejido's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Magalhães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Emanuel Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Espinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Emanuel Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Espinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gustavo Macedo made the kick off in the second half. If Manuel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastião Costa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute Eusébio Leiria ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Bruno Moutinho. 0-5. Daniel Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Cabral in the 62nd minute of the match. Paulo Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Daniel Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Gaspar Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Paulo Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Dias having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Gustavo Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SC Carquejido fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when SC Carquejido's Paulo Magalhães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SC Espinho's Daniel Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Cabral in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Paulo Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Dias. SC Espinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Gaspar Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Daniel Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Carquejido supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Espinho's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Espinho.
