Heitor Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Filipe Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Paranhas's protests and gave Filipe Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, SC Paranhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paredes got free with Pedro Gaspar in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Paredes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Pedro Gaspar stood somewhat misplaced when Diogo Pacheco came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. The supporters of SC Paranhas booed when SC Namorados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Namorados's Heitor Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Barbosa in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Pacheco to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Luís Monteiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Paranhas and the SC Namorados players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Monteiro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Diogo Barbosa's late challenge caught a SC Namorados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SC Namorados booed when SC Paranhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diogo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Namorados fully deserved thier win.
